How does exit intent work on mobile?

On a mobile device, exit intent is triggered when the visitor clicks on the back button on the browser. This option will not work if the visitor has come directly into your mobile site because they won’t have the back button enabled or if they exit by clicking the URL bar to navigate to another page.

You can create two versions of the CTA, one for mobile and one for desktop which have different triggers so the mobile version is not based on exit intent but time delayed, for example. You can decide to create two separate CTAs or use skip logic to display a mobile or desktop version from a single CTA. Please refer to the β€œHow can I create a desktop and mobile version of a CTA from a single CTA”.
