How can I create a desktop and mobile version of a CTA from a single CTA?
There are three ways to create separate mobile and desktop versions of your CTAs:
Option 1 - Create the desktop version of your CTA and use the targeting condition “If device type is - Desktop”. Then, duplicate the CTA (this will be the mobile version) and in the builder on mobile view make the relevant edits you need to the mobile version. Use the same targeting condition “If device type is - Mobile”. This option will work on all of our plan tiers and provide separate data for each version:
Option 2 - Duplicate the entire container within the same step and make one version hidden on mobile and the other hidden on desktop. This process can also be followed for individual elements. This option will work on all of our plan tiers and reports will be shown as if there were two separate buttons on the CTA:
Option 3 - Create the desktop version of your CTA in Step 1 and the mobile version in Step 2. Make sure the desktop version is hidden on mobile. Use the Skip Logic feature and create a condition in which “If device type is - Mobile” jump to step 2. This option will only work for our paid plans that come with the Skip Logic feature and reporting mill not be 100% accurate:
