How to segment leads, map fields and trigger automations in ConvertKit
Adding ConvertKit tags to leads, segmenting leads into sequences and mapping ConvertFlow custom fields
ConvertFlow's powerful automation system let's you trigger automations in ConvertKit on subscribers, when they engage with CTAs, submit forms and visit your web pages.
Triggering ConvertKit automations with forms and buttons
From the CTA builder, click on any form or button elements you add, scroll the options panel to the "Automations" dropdown, and choose "ConvertKit" from the first selection field.
You can then choose the type of automation you would like to trigger.
ConvertKit automation types include...
- Add a tag
- Remove a tag
- Add to sequence
- Add to form
Note: Adding and removing tag automations will only work on existing subscribers. It is required to add new ConvertFlow submissions to a ConvertKit sequence or form to pass their contact information.
Triggering ConvertKit automations on page visits and CTA goal completion in Flows
You can trigger ConvertKit automations when someone completes a goal in your Flow.
Whether it's a "Visit" or "CTA" goal, you can add automations to be triggered upon the completion of the goal.
